Create a modern architectural feature using our exclusive 40x40mm aluminium batten fencing system.
Our aluminium battens can be used for privacy screens, front fencing, feature walls, building facades, equipment enclosures and matching gates. Every panel is custom cut to your required width and height, then supplied flat packed for you to assemble and install yourself.
The system uses pre-punched top and bottom aluminium rails to help keep the battens straight and evenly spaced. All screws sit inside the rail channels before aluminium covers are fitted over the fixings, creating a clean and professional finish.
HOW TO GET A FAST QUOTE
Send us the following information:
- The width of each panel between your posts
- The height of each panel
- Your preferred colour
- Your required gap between the batten edges
- Whether the panels will sit between the posts or in front of the posts
Maximum standard panel width between posts is approximately 3000mm.

SUITABLE APPLICATIONS
CHOOSE YOUR BATTEN GAP
The closer the battens are positioned, the more privacy the panel provides. Smaller gaps use more aluminium and will therefore cost more.
We can also supply panels with custom gaps. Custom spacing requires more measuring during assembly because the standard pre-punched rail positions may not be used.
The 40x40mm battens sit flat across the front face. Small strengthening V-grooves may be visible on some side faces of the battens.

PANEL CONNECTION OPTIONS
Panels Between Posts
Our standard panels are quoted with side brackets that attach to the inside of your aluminium posts, timber posts, steel posts, brick piers or building walls. The completed panel fits between the posts.
Seamless Panels in Front of Posts
For a seamless continuous batten appearance, ask for our saddle bracket system. The brackets attach to the front of the posts and the completed panel clips onto the brackets.
Seamless panels can be manufactured up to approximately:
- 4800mm long in Dark Grey
- 5500mm long in Satin Black or Gloss White
ALUMINIUM POSTS AVAILABLE
Panels can be fitted between your own timber, steel or masonry posts, or you can purchase matching aluminium posts from us.
- 76x76mm aluminium posts — $40 per metre
- 100x100mm aluminium posts — $70 per metre
- Post bases and caps are also available
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE DIY SYSTEM?
- 40x40mm aluminium battens cut to your required height

BASIC DIY ASSEMBLY
- Position the top and bottom rails at the required distance from the ends of the battens. A common guide is approximately 10% of the overall batten height.
- Use the supplied cutting sheet to identify the correct starting hole for the first batten.
- Mark the fixing height on each batten so the rails remain level and consistent.
- With two people, screw the first batten to the top rail through the pre-punched rail hole and into the reinforced side of the batten.
- Continue attaching the remaining battens across the top rail.
- Square the panel and attach the bottom rail.
- Fit the rail covers to conceal the screws.
- Attach the completed panel to your posts, piers or structure using the supplied brackets.
MATCHING SWING AND SLIDING GATES
We can also cut and supply matching pedestrian gates, double swing gates and sliding gates using the same 40x40mm aluminium battens.

IMPORTANT ORDER INFORMATION
- A $100 deposit is required for each custom-cut panel before pickup.
- Our standard cutting days are Tuesday and Thursday.
- Orders should be confirmed before the required cutting day.
- Protective film may remain on the aluminium for you to remove after installation.
- Allow a manufacturing tolerance of approximately 3–6mm.
- Final batten gaps may be adjusted slightly so the pattern fits evenly within the panel width.
- The first and final battens cannot normally sit within 30mm of the panel ends because of the rail connection brackets.
